Sports Gear in the Water

Business Brochures

This is the beginning of a project that involves creating a design for a sports gear of water sports and creating a brochure advertising it.
The types of brochures that are used by businesses are. The different businesses that use brochures are supermarkets, for new product releases and discounts they may offer, restaurants use brochures to advertise their discounts, offers and their home delivery services, event organizers use brochures to bring in more people.
The 3 panel brochures are brochures with 2 folds and 3 panels. This is used to show 6 different pieces of information and advertising. The flyer, this is a no fold sheet of paper containing all the information on both sides.
The design of the brochure would be a 2 fold brochure as it has the best amount of space for the information required and can contain enough information on each page without seeming too boring and dull. The design of the product will be more technological to make sure people become safer and prepared for any disaster.

There are many sports gears that are used in water sports such as:

Jets skis
o    These are motorized bikes except on the water that you sit on you can accelerate and steer.

·       Wetsuits
o  Wetsuits are designed to keep the heat in and to make sure that you don’t create too much friction between yourself and the water.

·       Diving Cylinders
o  These are small high-pressure tanks that contain breathable air that scuba divers use to travel far depths without having to resurface for air.

The consumers would like to change the dive time of this as it is quite limited as after a certain period you need to surface slowly. It would also be better if the diving tank was lighter as this would increase efficiency as you would require less energy to transport it needing less air.

  1. Dear Anirudh,

You have got off to a good start. I need to see more of investigation in terms of skills learnt using Adobe Photoshop and your Design and Plan tasks too.

  2. the design seems a bit too simple so work on that but your brochure design was really professional and i like that the prices was displayed with a star so it could persuade people to buy it

  3. Your brochure is really nice, but it doesn’t look official. I am convinced to buy your product and i am glad that you included the price of the product. I think that he design seems a bit too simple and you should put more information on your company. For example your company's logo, slogan, contact detail, name, history...

    1. Thank you Myriam I agree with your comment as I still need to include more information on my "company" with the Logo etc. I might need to include more information to make it more detail.

  4. I think that you have done a great job. You have made a very productive and well designed brochure that will probably attract many people's attention. You have annotated your product and made your company logo and contact information which makes it look official. I like the colors you used but I think that you could have done something different to the font. Also the logo should be bigger so that we can see the names.
